Je travaille toujours comme une dingue, et je suis toujours aussi folle de mon Mac et de son "Photomatton": bien pratique pour communiquer des détails de tricot! Allez, au travail!

Packing up!

I'm leaving to Iceland tomorrow morning with all the family and I'm still packing, trying to figure out what knitting projects, what yarn , what samples to take with me... We will be away for the all month and there's plenty to do. There is the first issue to wrap up, the knitting tour with Ysolda as a guest teacher beginning of September, my Icelandic intarsia workshop, then the opening of the Dialogue exhibition in Finlande the 7th of September, the Issue 01 going live the 9th , the IknitWeekender the 10h and 11th where I will offer an Icelandic intarsia workshop. Not to mention the girls going back to school somewhere in the between... Thanks god I have my darling Mac following me everywhere!

Toute la famille part en Islande demain matin et je suis toujours en train de faire les bagages en train de choisir les projets, la laine, les échantillons à empaqueter... Nous partons pour un mois entier et les tâches ne manquent pas. Il y a le premier numéro à boucler, le voiyage de tricot avec la ravissante Ysolda la première semaine de Septembre, mon atelier sur le jacquard intarsia islandais, l'ouverture de l' exposition Dialogue en Finlande le 7, le Numéro 01 qui sort le 9, le salon londonien IknitWeekender les 10 et 11 où je propose un atelier sur le tricot lopi et le jacquard islandais. Sans parler de la rentrée scolaire des filles quelque part au milieu... Heureusement, mon Mac chéri me suit partout !

Gave up my old tower PC and got myself a MAC laptop: now I can work on holidays, yeah! And play with the Photo Booth...

J'ai abandonné mon PC et sa vieille tour et je me suis offert un portable MAC: maintenant je peux travailler pendant les vacances, youpi! Et faire l'andouille avec la caméra incorporée...

Catching up

Today in my postbox, the cute catalogue of the exhibition "Dialogue" in which I participate in Turku, Finland, Septembre 8-30, 2010, at Galleri Campus.

Aujourd´hui dans ma boite aux lettres, le catalogue de l´exposition Dialogue à laquelle de je participe à Turku en Finlande du 8 au 30 septembre 2010, à la Galleri Campus.

And an article published in Fashion Daily with one of my knit featured, that Atelier was so kind to send me.

Et puis un article paru dans Fashion Daily avec l´une de mes créations mises en avant que l´Atelier a eu la gentillesse de m´envoyer.

The article was echoing the exhibition "Wools of Europe", which hilghlighted one hundred European sheep breeds. The exhibition is now in Italy at Biella and will be moving to London for the "Wool week" initiated by Prince Charles October 11-18, 210. The catalgue of the exhibition is published with photos and texts, linking breeders and processors. It is a tool for the coordination and the identification of teh Europen wool sector as well as a common wool promotion.

Cet article faisait écho à l´exposition "Laines d´Europe" à Rambouillet. L´exposition est en ce moment en Italie Biella, puis sera montré à Londres du 11 au 18 octobre lors de la "Wool Week" (Semaine de la Laine) initiée par le Prince Charles. Le catalogue de l´exposition est une référence indispensable et un outil utile avec une centaine d´espèces de moutons européens répertoriés, des photos et des textes et des liens très utiles aux éleveurs, producteurs et créateurs.

There is also a workshop on Icelandic intarsia planned October 9, 2010 in the Nantes area.
