Mon atelier islandais

I've looking very much forward to being working away from home and having all my stuff (and I have a lot)  concentrated in one place. I'm quite happy with my studio in a house full of artists but for now  I'm still writing this blogpost from home! 

J'attendais avec une grande impatience de pouvoir travailler en dehors de la maison et d'avoir tout mon (grabd!) bazar concentré à un seul endroit. Je suis ravie de mon atelier dans une maison pleine d'artistes mais pour le moment j'écris ce blog post depuis la maison!

The little private sale yesterday went well except for a big cold and a lot of coughing here ! But for once my studio looked tidy!

La petite vente privée s´est bien passée hier à part un gros rhume chez moi ! Mais pour une fois mon atelier était rangé !

Those who couldn´t make it, don´t worry: just send me an email and we´ll find some time before the holidays.

There were some really nice custom made compositions. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures...

Il y a eu de très jolies compositions de guirlandes. Malheureusement, je n´ai même pas pensé à prendre de photos...

The girls baked piparkökur to go with the home made jólaglögg: boiling aple juice with cannil and cloves. Plus my Normand (viking ?) touch: a good splash of Calvados...

Les filles avaient fait des piparkökur, délicieux, pour aller avec le jólaglögg maison: jus de pomme bouillant, batons de canelle, clou de girofle et la touche normande (c´est viking, non ?), une bonne rasade de calvados.
